LinkyFix TikTok previews in Discord
Linky rewrites supported TikTok video, photo and mobile share links through tnktok so Discord can attempt a preview. The hosted bot is free to add; a server admin enables it with /setup enabled: true. You do not need to run your own server.
Which TikTok links does Linky recognize?
HTTPS links on tiktok.com, www.tiktok.com and m.tiktok.com can use video, photo or /t/ share paths. Short links on vm.tiktok.com and vt.tiktok.com can contain a share code at the root. Linky removes the original subdomain and query string when rewriting them.

These are URL-shape examples, not verified posts. Profile links, the TikTok homepage and unrecognized paths stay unchanged. Fragments after # are retained.
Why might a short TikTok link fail?
A short link depends on its share-code redirect and the preview provider resolving it. A recognized URL can therefore be rewritten without producing a playable embed. Open the original link and try the full public video or photo URL if the short version fails. A deleted, private or restricted post may remain unavailable.
For an occasional manual fix, replace a supported TikTok hostname with tnktok.com and remove the query string. This uses the same external provider and has the same availability limits.
What if Linky did nothing?
Run /help in the affected channel. If disabled, an admin can enable the server. Check channel and thread permissions, then share a fresh supported message. Edits, other bots and unsupported message types are skipped. Linky sends the replacement with attribution and checks it before deleting the original.
